Flexible Online Learning for Homeschool Families
Gateway HSN Virtual Academy provides a flexible online learning option for students in grades 6–12. We partner with homeschooling families by offering quality online coursework and optional academic support in a flexible learning environment.
Whether your student is learning independently or would benefit from additional academic guidance, Gateway HSN Virtual Academy allows families to customize an education that fits their student's goals and schedule.
Enrollment Options
Independent Enrollment
ndependent Enrollment is designed for families who wish to oversee their student's daily education while utilizing the eDynamic Learning curriculum.
With Independent Enrollment:
Parents monitor their student's daily progress and coursework.
Parents ensure assignments are completed on time.
Parents grade assignments that require teacher evaluation, such as essays, projects, and written work.
Students complete their online coursework independently.
Gateway provides access to the curriculum and technical assistance as needed.
This option is ideal for students who work well independently and for families who prefer to manage their student's educational progress.
Academic Support
Academic Support is designed for families who would like additional instructional support while remaining actively involved in their student's education.
With Academic Support:
Parents continue to monitor their student's progress and ensure coursework is completed.
Gateway grades essays, projects, and other written assignments requiring teacher evaluation.
Gateway provides feedback on written work to help students improve.
Students may receive assistance with course questions and assignments.
Gateway works in partnership with parents to support student success.
Academic Support supplements the parent's role by providing instructional feedback and grading while parents remain responsible for monitoring progress and maintaining accountability.
Curriculum
Gateway HSN Virtual Academy uses eDynamic Learning, which offers a wide variety of online middle and high school courses.
Families select the courses they are interested in during registration. Gateway reviews each enrollment before courses are assigned to ensure appropriate placement and course availability.

Independent Enrollment

Academic Support families may choose from available payment plan options.

Each Additional Course: $100
The Initial Enrollment Fee must be paid in full before courses are activated.

Families may also list additional course interests during registration.
Payment Information:
An initial enrollment payment is due when you register.
For Independent Enrollment, the Initial Enrollment Fee must be paid in full before courses are activated.
For Academic Support, the initial enrollment payment is collected at registration, and the remaining tuition must be paid before courses are activated or an approved payment plan begins.
Gateway staff will review each enrollment before courses are assigned.
